Located on the Carribean just south of Mexico, Belize is about 200 miles to the south of Cancun or Cozumel, Mexico. From Houston it’s just a 2 hour in flight and you’re in a tropical paradise.
Island Divers Belize is located on the pier, beachfront of the Holiday Hotel in downtown San Pedro on the island of Ambergris Caye. The dive shop is located within walking distance of Celi’s Deli and Caprice Bar and Grill where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee each morning as well as natural juices and a delicious breakfast from their menu right before your dives or surface interval. Traveling to Belize
Getting to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye is easy by air from the United States, but it does require at least one stop along the way. The easiest method of travelling around Belize is by air. Fly into the International Airport and walk over to the domestic terminal and catch your connecting puddle jumper to Ambergris Caye.

Ambergris Caye (pronounced as “key”, meaning an island, derived from the Spanish language “cayo”), is the largest island in Belize located in the azure waters of the Caribbean. It is famous worldwide as a scuba diving destination. Ambergris Caye is about 25 miles long from north to south, and only one mile wide. The Belizean island is surrounded by a ring of stunning white sand beaches.
San Pedro Town
San Pedro Town is the largest settlement and only town on Ambergris. Belize is an English speaking country and a land filled with unforgettable sights and adventures.
